Fresh 48 session are intended to capture those first moments you have with your new baby, those first kisses, outfit changes, bath, meeting older siblings and other members of the family, all while having your privacy during the labor and delivery process. For a new mom, those first hours and days can be a blur because so much is changing all at once. I want to help you remember these moments, emotions, and feelings for years to come. Let's capture every small detail on that tiny angel of yours, because they grow all too fast and before we know it, we have forgotten.
When?
I would suggest scheduling as soon as you know you want this type of session. Because I take a limited number of these session per month, the sooner the better to ensure availability.
Where?
The babies place of birth(home, hospital, birthing center). They take place during the daytime within the first 48 hours after birth.
What should I wear or bring?
If you have any special outfits or accessories for baby, just let me know and we can work them into the photos. Some moms want a photo with a specific shirt or blanket, we will make it happen.

Maternity
$150 - Up to 90 minutes - up to 20 digital prints

When?
As soon as you know you are pregnant we can schedule your session date. Ideally, between 32 & 36 weeks is when you will want the photos taken. If you have a history of short or long pregnancies, we can adjust the timeline if needed.
Where?
You session can take place at private land that I have for outdoor photos, at your home, on your land, or another place of your choosing.
What should I wear or bring?
Basic things, like a plain colored shirt and jeans, or a tank top. A shirt or cardigan that opens easily can also be utilized if you would like shots of your actual belly. Other things you may want to bring include: baby booties, outfits, socks, hats, blocks, signs with their name, sonogram, etc.
Your husband/significant other and children are more than welcome to take part in some of the photos.

Senior
$175 - Up to 2 hours - up to 20 digital prints
There’s nothing worse than seeing the same outdated backdrop in every senior photo in the yearbook. Let's move around and give you something different! I do not shoot in a studio so that we can avoid that same repeat look that every one else has. I want to get out, breathe in some fresh air and take advantage of all the natural light we have!
When?
Contact me to schedule your shoot as close to the end of your junior year as possible. This gives us time to schedule, edit, and get them back to you for sharing and submitting to the school for the yearbook.
Where?
We will talk before your shoot about your personal style. What feel do you want your photos to have? Outdoorsy? Sports fanatic? Fashionista? Band geek? Drama queen? Let's make our environment work for us and get you some great shots that fit your personality. Your session includes 2 locations.
What should I wear or bring?
This is totally up to you! Wear something that is your style, that is also comfortable and will remain fairly modest as we move around to take photos. Bring something that represents you. An art piece you painted, an instrument, sports equipment, a performance outfit. Let's make this as 'you' as we can. Your session includes 3 wardrobe changes.

Engagement

Many people choose to have an engagement session done for different reasons. Some use these photos to remember these great times together, some use them to display at their wedding, in their home, or on invitations and save the date cards. Some people just enjoy having the professional photos taken of them together. No matter your reasoning, rest assured we will have a blast and capture all of the emotions that you and your future spouse share together.
When?
You can schedule your engagement session as soon as you say "yes!" Let's get it on the calendar.
Where?
Do you two have a favorite spot or special location? Let's work with that. I also have some private land where we can take outdoor photos. There are some great places along the river to capture some more natural photos. Let's talk about it!
What should I wear or bring?
Wear something you are comfortable in. Or if you are wanting these photos to be displayed somewhere with a specific theme, keep that in mind. Wear something that coordinates but is not identical. If you have any special items between the two of you, brings those. Obviously, make sure you bring the ring, everyone wants some photos of that iconic symbol of your love.

Family
$150 - Up to 60 minutes - up to 20 digital prints
Where?
Great family photos can be made or broken depending on the location! I am always open to locations that are special to you and your family, and I also have a couple that are my favorites. Just let me know what you are thinking and we will make it work.
What should I wear or bring?
These photos should capture your family's individual style! Think, coordinating, but not all matching. Don't put everyone in the exact same purple paisley shirt. Mix it up a little! Color is fun! Choose a base or neutral color and then add a pop of color here or there, scarf, shoes, little ones clothes. Please avoid branded clothing or clothing with logos, unless of course we are doing a specifically themed shoot. Make sure you are comfortable in the clothes you are wearing.
For sessions with small children:
Kids pick up on you and your mood, so keep calm, even when you know you have 13 things left to do before you leave, and you're running late, just keep cool. My goal is to capture their natural expressions, so them having fun and being carefree is a big part of that. If you have any special snacks or treats you are more than welcome to bring them. Make sure everyone is fed and happy. The night before, or day off, make sure to tell your kids what we are doing and get them excited about how much fun if will be and that you are going to be making memories together. Don't put too much pressure on them to take perfect photos or be on their best behavior. Kids have off days, just like we adults do.
